Good guy

Today, I had a seizure at my boyfriend's. The second I began to seize, he cursed and picked me up, dropping me on the floor complaining, "Now I have to clean the damn couch." I had urinated because I had no control over my body. The couch is still stained. He dumped me for ruining his furniture. FML

well at least now you can find a guy who can actually HELP you when you are seizing. and now that you are not seizing and free of that jerk you get to laugh when you think of what you did to his couch =)

It that's his attitude, you are much better off without him. He's an ass.

Your better off without him anyway. Hope your feeling okay now

What an asshole! You are better off without him.

how can someone be retarded enough to say ydi, seizures are very serious. two of my friends had seizures at school this year. one has a history and takes meds, the other was hit in the head. it's only a class of 90 kids so it is more common than you think. 911 was called and they were taken to the hospital.

he obviously wasn't the right one for you

...maybe he didn't want to date a girl with your problem, you're not married so I say he has the right to explore other options. He was in no way obligated to be the nice guy and clean you up.

Anyone that has a condition like that should wear appropriate undergarments. I'd dump anyone that pissed on my furniture too. Esp if they, like the OP, weren't taking any steps to ensure it didn't happen AGAIN and AGAIN. I wouldn't let them in my car or house at all, EVER.

Wear a diaper at all times just because you're epileptic??? That is a stupid idea,it's not you are going to pee onyourself everytime you go out!

wow, really? are you serious? try putting yourself in the OP's shoes. and how would YOU feel if your significant other dumped you over something you couldn't control?

By the callous reaction of the boyfriend, I suspect that he's experienced these seizures more than once and this coupled with other factors in the relationship caused the breakup, not the couch. Otherwise he's a really big dick, which is another possibility.
