All I could picture when I read a lot of these responses was Ron Burgundy screaming "Why don't you go back to your home on ***** island" .....in all seriousness though, it sounds as if there are much deeper issues than just you sleeping in the nude. I had a very volatile relationship with my mother as well, she was very bitter and verbally abusive towards me. My best advice to you OP is to keep yourself surrounded by people who love you and respect you. Never allow anyone to validate how you feel about yourself, even if it is your mother.

It's ok OP I'm a **** too- I sleep naked, shower naked, pull my pants down to use the toilet, get massages naked, get pap smears naked, love my partner naked and I'm naked underneath my clothes all the time. Sorry your mother is like this OP- I know it hurts because mothers are supposed to love and nurture... I hope you can find a way to appropriately communicate one day :)
