#12, I agree
"It's the thought that counts." You know. But really, maybe she doesn't have money to buy you $200 jewelry. And I'm sure she didn't really mean for a pack of gum to be equivalent to your gift. I think you're rather ungrateful, actually. It was nice of you to buy her jewelry, but I wouldn't want my boyfriend making the whole world think I'm a lousy girlfriend just because I'm poor.
I would have taken it back, because that's bullshit. As a young lady, I would like to see the girl who did this. I'd like to slap her in the back of the head for making all of us look bad. And by the way, to the person who said "the thought counts", there was no thought involved. It was gum the poster was allergic to! After 10 months, she should have known that.
#106- Actually a decent Sterling silver necklace can be anywhere from 100-300 dollars, especially if it's Tiffany & Co. So not fair to say he was ripped off, it's not a cheap material..
I actually doubt, that you could get an allergic reaction from artificial cinnamon flavor. Don't be sad though, people forget stuff and allergies aren't something she was constantly reminded of wasn't she?
Lol pwned
