Did she ASK for expensive jewelry? Maybe she left feelind bad, and gave you what was in her pocket so she wouldn't feel as bad. OR she just wanted a clean break. They're normally easier to bear.

Screw all the people who say it was stupid of you to spend $200 on a girl you may never see again, they just don't get it. And ten months isn't a short time to be with someone, you get plenty attached in that time. She will remember you.
