I cant vote unless I know how old you both are..
he is probably just freaking out and trying to put everything into perspective. just give it some time. pregnant women are allowed one glass of red wine while pregnant so that's not an issue
Doesn't it seem suspicious that he went to go buy wine when you told him your pregnant ?
You are allowed a small amount of alcohol (if given an okay by a doctor) during pregnancy.
haha that's what I should of done
So you should have told your pregnant girlfriend that you were going to get some alcohol to drink to celebrate and leave her alone worried for hours being forced to take care of your child alone. Douche bag.
Yeah, especially with this grammar. No one needs a dad who can't even speak his language properly.
well he definitely got some wine. he's probably passed out somewhere.
Geeze calm down everyone, that's big news to spring on a guy and let's face it they're not great at life handling life changing news most of the time and the wine thing was probably a brain not fully working moment due to the shock of the news, take a deep breath chances are he's probably sitting somewhere freaking out and trying to calm down before he comes home. If it turns out that's not the case then just remember you are a woman, you are strong and if it comes to it you are more then capable of doing it on your own :)
Wow. How sexist of you. So it's simply in man's nature to be a cowardly little bitch who lies to run away from his responsibilities? And it's also in man's nature to be so callous and inconsiderate that he leaves his newly pregnant girlfriend, who is likely equally scared, alone for hours without a word so she can just wonder what he's up to? I'm sorry, but many, if not most, men are capable of much more than that. My father is an infinitely better man than that, and I expect as much from any man I let into my life. I feel sorry for you, because you must have been shown a piss-poor example of what men are like growing up to expect so little from them.
I think you deserve that one, you had the time to really see if your boyfriend was man enough and you failed to see that he was a douche, YDI
Wow... so, because her boyfriend turned out to be an idiot, OP deserves to be left alone and pregnant?
1) you can't drink alcohol while ur pregnant so hopefully u weren't planning on doing that. 2) maybe he just needed time to think thing threw. A baby is a big change and ur life won't be normal after that
1) Yes. Yes, you can. Some doctors even recommend it. A glass of wine a day but no more than that. 2) It changes your life but not to the point that it lacks normality. Come on. Women have been getting pregnant and having kids for all of time. That's preeeetty normal, perfectly natural.
I've heard this story so many times. These guys either use "taking a trip to see their grandmother "or "Going to the store" as ab excuse to run off, hopefully for the baby he will eventually come back. If not then sorry op

What an ass .. Just wow ..
The fact he said he was getting wine should've been the first hint.
