He's a good man

By no booze, no boyfriend - 04/06/2013 20:31 - United States

Today, my now ex-boyfriend called me from jail, expecting me to bail him out. He'd tried to buy a load of booze at the liquor store and came up short by ten cents. The cashier refused to be short-changed, and he figured the only reasonable reaction was to punch her in the face. FML

Stories like this always remind me of my favourite novel - Tequila Mockingbird.

Soooo punching people in the face over ten cents is wrong? Tell that to my friend -rubs jaw-

You think you know a man... And there he is punching women in the face for booze lol

Well there's just about three reasons there for why you shouldn't bail him out. Screw him

Wow, that's a bit of an overreaction.. but ten cents short and she wouldn't let it slide? Seriously? That lady needed a punch in the face.

Obviously he shouldn't have punched her in the face.. that's ridiculous, I was kidding. But, I failed so I will go sit in a corner out of shame.

I don't think a punch in the face is deserved for not letting ten cents slide. Maybe crying and begging instead?

A punch is totally reasonable for not having a dime... *sarcasm*

They did it on Spongebob, so it must be reasonable!

odds are that the cashier doesn't own the store, and some places will fire employees that have cash drawers that are short, no matter how much they are missing

Good for you. I'm so sick of hearing about things people's crazy "boyfriends" do. They should seriously be exes after such behavior.

I've heard of mean drunks-- but if he was sober at the time? Damn!
