Today, my car door and window were broken when a thief broke into my car. Cost to repair the damage? $600. Increase to my car insurance premiums? $40 a month. What'd they steal from my car? A $0.98 chocolate chip cookie. FML

people are dirtbags. I just has some little bastard break my window to my truck and didn't steal anything. just broke my f-n window

go get a permit to carry a gun, handle things with a little Texas Justice.

I would imagine that the very same thief is out there somewhere, looking for a lone, abandoned car with milk.

Just be glad it wasn't a Klondike bar hah :) the damage could have been far worse!

Imagine if it had been a peanut butter cookie!

Yeah, it would've been sooo much better if they's stolen you your iPod, radio, CDs, laptop etc instead of a cookie... I don't really get OP's logic here.

The real FML is the price he has to pay for the insurance+repairs just for a darn cookie.

well, if OP had left a GPS/iPod/computer/whatever within view of the car window, I would be inclined to say YDI for leaving a valuable item in a visible location in your car...but since OP only had a cookie stolen, I feel more inclined to say FYL, because the person who broke into the car apparently had no reason to break in, and OP did nothing to deserve having her car broken into.

I hate how they format these...and I would be furious, good thing that'll never happen to me...hopefully.
