Sorry, you aren't eligible for a FML on this one. The dog is...
Are you for real?? Don't you know they have trainers for the dogs in the movies? They train them & bribe them with treats to get them to do what they want. This is definitely a YDI.
I'll admit that when I initially read it, I immediately thought of the "killing the dog" meaning of "put down". Context obviously disambiguated it though.
Never try anything you see in movies, unless it's ****.
Must have had a shitty life there.
next time just hand the owner their dog. I'm sorry your life isn't like some sappy dog movie.
Hahaha. The dog should've been running away from the owner! Lol!
Maybe there's a reason it ran away from it's owner...either it wasn't trained/with the owner for very long to have learned to obey, or the owner was abusing it...either way FYL OP...should have taken it to the pound & let them call the owner..they'd be more inclined to tell if the owner was good or bad to the dog

There goes your reward money.
That dog is an asshole, but I bet the owner hates their life more. I can see it now: "today my dog ran away...twice. FML."
