Today, I found a lost dog and called the owner. When he arrived, I thought it would be cute to put the dog down so he would run back into his owner's arms, like in movies. As soon as I put the dog down, it ran away again. FML

That dog is an asshole, but I bet the owner hates their life more. I can see it now: "today my dog ran away...twice. FML."

When my dog got lost and someone found him he was too scared at the moment to come straight to me. You should've known something like that might have happened.

Hand over your man card. You thought it would be "cute?" What in the world is wrong with you? You hand the owner the dog and call it a day. Not try to recreate some fantasy dog movie crap where the dog leaps out of your hands to the master and you shed a tear like... oh we were together for such a short time but I feel you were mine. blah blah blah.

YDI!!!!!!! Some dogs run away at the first chance they get. Did you stop to think for a moment this dog ran away once lets set him loose. The owner should train him better I have 3 Labradors, they come back when commanded.
