Today, I found a lost dog and called the owner. When he arrived, I thought it would be cute to put the dog down so he would run back into his owner's arms, like in movies. As soon as I put the dog down, it ran away again. FML

That dog is an asshole, but I bet the owner hates their life more. I can see it now: "today my dog ran away...twice. FML."

My golden will never leave no matter what. Only reason I use a leash is the facts it's a law. And btw you should never chase your dog. It scares them or they turn it into a game.

Not really. We have three dogs, all loved and taken care of, but when they go out they get so excited they hardly listen when we call them to come back. Dogs can be very excitable creatures.

My dogs a hunting hound.....he goes off after the first thing he smells, and there is no chance of him listening to us when he's after something. Normally we just let him go and he'll find his way home a few hours later.

Some guy did the same thing to me... I lost my dog , he found her and went to my house he put her down on my outside steps and she ran away... Again
