If your date isn't working out, you act polite until the date is over and you decide not to go on another date with them. It's common sense. The guy was a bitchy, fatheaded asshole about it and acted totally immature, humiliating her unecessarily, on a site that who-knows-how many people have access to. I don't think SDI.
Agree 100%. What a ********.
To people saying variations of "I'll throw out his phone" and "I'll tell him he's an asshole", chances are this may have happened to you in some form and you STILL DIDN'T do it. Plus, who the heck throws a tantrum in the middle of a date unless they're insecure narcissistic idiots? Oh and won't throwing someone's phone classify as destruction of property and punishable by law? To the OP and everyone else: In the REAL WORLD, someone you like DOESN'T HAVE TO LIKE YOU BACK!!!! You will learn this lesson sooner or later and let's hope you don't turn into one of the psychos Lyndis described. I have been in that place and it was not pretty! (The guy broke up with me because he said I was too analytical and logical for him and always had a plan for everything). It took me a while to learn this and I am a better person when it comes to dating because of it. OP, next time before you go on a date, arrange with your friends to call you at thirty minute intervals so you'd have an excuse to leave. On the downside I don't think stalking his facebook page(even if he's on your list) helps your case.
Peoples' statuses show up on your newsfeed, so she didn't even necessarily go out of her way to check his.
This is ridiculous. Why are there so many assumptions that women can't take, or worse, UNDERSTAND, rejection?! The very concept of love wouldn't exist if everybody was compatible with everybody else. It's a ludicrous suggestion that all women turn into psychos if men reject them. You win some, you lose some, that's just the way it goes. I'll admit that I've heard of broken-hearted women going totally schizo on unsuspecting men-folk, but no more than I've heard of men doing the same. As for the bloke in question, he's clearly a total douchebag, and not worth a second's more of your time. And for future reference, if the guy is being a prick, there's no reason for you to stay. I'm not talking dull or shy or anything, I mean really rude and offensive. I've left dates half way through before, and it's a fantastically liberating feeling. I once went for a walk-in-the-park date with this guy who turned up with a sleeping bag and a bottle of vodka. Needless to say, I made my (very shoddy) excuses, and left.
What he meant in his status: He was taking out the trash. Her being the trash in this metaphor Thats really funny tho but really mean You should have ordered lobster or something really expensive and not eat it lmfao! Then make him pay.. Lol Is #6 serious??? Do you actually think u saw them??
YDI for not leaving him immediately. If he could not leave his phone for the date, he could date his phone. He show you no respect and you patiently wait till he give you a few seconds of hia attention? some date.

That sucks. Even though he wasn't interested in you, he could have still been polite. It's extremely rude to ignore the person you are having dinner with. I probably would have grabbed his phone and chucked it at the wall.
What a jerk! FYL!! I would update YOUR status "I just took out The Clap, but I saved myself just in time"
