Today, my boyfriend broke up with me because of my drunken antics. My reaction? Pour myself a stiff drink. FML

Clearly, you need help. Break ups suck but use this as a way to focus and seek professional help.

The first step is admitting that YOU are the one with the problem.

Drinking is the solution to everything now get plastered do his best friend and live it up that'll show what an he was. Who doesn't want a party girl ;-)

why does everyone automatically think shes a drunk? could just be a weekend warrior like me. drunks are hardcore 24/7

Actually an alcoholic is a hardcore 24/7 kinda person, a drunk is more of a weekend warrior or binge drinker and I don't believe OP is alcoholic she just mayb a weekend drunk who's "drunken antics" could mean she's to much of a drama queen when she drinks. OP didn't tell us excatly why her bf left her, she said caus of her antics not her drinking so I don't think tht was really the problem. And 93- think u you should inform yourself b4 telling others to inform themselfs.

Wrong again. Seriously, look it up. If your tolerance to alcohol has grown so that you need more to get the same feeling, you have become chemically dependent and are an alcoholic. Doesn't matter if you drink only during the evenings or just weekends. The most common reason alcoholics deny they are alcoholics is because they don't understand this or it makes then feel better to rationalize their dependence by thinking "well I'm not 24/7 drunk on the streets so I'm not an alcoholic".
