Today, my boyfriend of four years broke up with me because he wanted some independence. He moved back into his parents' house. FML

That may suck, but maybe you're so unbearable to live with that he wanted to break up and get his own place. He wanted his independence from you. He's probably just staying with his parents for a while so that he can save up for his own place. Be happy that he left you with a place to stay; he could have gotten you kicked out.
