Today, my dad texted me, "I love u." I replied, "I love you too dad... are you drunk?" He answers back, "Of course I am..." My dad only tells me he loves me when he's drunk. FML

The truth comes out when people are drunk. So this is a good thing. My dad has never said he loves me, I don't like him very much anyway, so it doesn't matter to me.

It's okay, my dad almost never tells me he loves me either (but my family isn't the most lovey-dovey as it is)...don't they always say that the truth comes out when you're drunk?

dOn`t feeL bad. my dad onLy teLLs me he loves me when hes drunk too. or when something really really bad happens like someone dies or he found out i was pregnant @ 16 or somethinq like that. i quess thats just how some people are
