Keep cool

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, at work, I screamed, used one of my employees as a human shield, dove for cover, and cried. Why? A bat flew into my store. Bats scare me shitless. FML

Already I predict a large number of comments written by pricks who apparently aren't afraid of anything and do not accept the idea of someone else having serious fears of anything.

How are bats scary?? They're just like birds, only they come out at night. they eat all those pesky mosquitos too. and oh so cute!! but that sucks it flew into your store, hopefully nobody hurt it getting it out.

Are you sure it wasn't a butterfly? That woulda made me crap my drawers! Don't worry, there's like a 50:50 chance it wasn't rabid. It's only a few dozen shots to prevent you getting the disease.

"Today, on my window shopping routine I got interested in a store and decided to take a flight into it, but the cute assistant upon seeing me suddenly screamed, dove for cover and cried. She scared me shitless. FML." I know reverse POV has become cliche in FML but this is just irresistible! XD

Rofl, I gotta admit there that it was unexpected. I didn't expect anyone to write a reverse FML with the BAT. Points for that. 'cause it made me giggle.

You didn't expect it? Almost every FML has a comment reversing it.

yeah, ok. this happened on the office Friday on TBS, and yesterday on fox. I'm calling shenannigans.

Irrational fears, gotta love them. I have a hypervehalate and puke fear of spiders. Don't feel bad. You aren't alone

I grew up with a bat. And by that, I mean that there was a dead bat that had flown down our chimney once and stayed in our fireplace for me to stare at for years until we moved. Anyways, OP, I'm like that with bees...and bugs in general, but really, bees scare me shitless.
