Manly man

By takinabreak - 10/07/2009 17:03 - United States

Today, I was taking a shower and I saw a new body wash that said "Radiance Ribbons." That sounded a little effeminate, but it smelled manly enough and the only alternative was normal soap, so I used it. Just now, I stepped out into the sun and found out what "Radiance Ribbons" means. I sparkle. FML

Dammit!! Okay, the moment I saw this FML story, I immediately thought of Twilight and was like "Yes! I'll make a Twilight-related joke like 'Oh, you must feel like Edward Cullen. How riveting. :]'" But then I see it's Twilight-mania in the comments and the joke's already dead. *Sigh*

Figures this FML has tons of Twilight comments. At least now you have GIRL-APPROVED HAIR! ;D

YOUR EdWARdd!! that would be sooo coool if ur name was edward hahaha...how many girls came up to u that day and referred to u as a vampiree that day?

I'm a 16 year old girl and I absolutely HATE Twilight, and so I'm glad I'm not one of those stereotypical girls my age! In fact I had a friend of mine stab my book because it was fun; and we didn't really want to study the last few minutes at the cram session. But that's not the point...I did actually think of Edward Cullen only because I saw the movie (and no i didn't finish the book though i might have to because my mom told me she wasn't getting me anymore until i finish it). P.S. Vampires aren't supposed to "sparkle" they are supposed to burn and become charred!!! P.P.S GO TEAM JACOB!!!! HE'S HOT!!!

OK, why is everyone using these comments to argue about Twilight? Yes, it's poorly written, yes the characters are undeveloped, and yes the rabid fangirls can go a little crazy, as the merchandising has. Smyer isn't a writer, she's a story teller, and i appreciate the stories she tells, but not in a literary sense. Unfortunately, this is not the place to discuss it; there are plenty of other forums (including ones just for antis) that you can use.

LMFAO this seriously made my day. as soon as i read this, i said to myself "wow so now there's going to be all of these hard core twilight fans making that obsessive connection that they make to everything that has anything even remotely to do with Twilight." haha the book's been out since '05 and all of a sudden, they make a sucky movie out of it and it's "THE BEST BOOK EVER. CUTEST MOVIE EVER!" no, get real and get lives.

I just want to say that I like Twilight, but I am not a crazy fangirl. If I passed Robert Pattinson on the street, I wouldn't look twice. I enjoyed the books, and the movie was okay, but I don't relate everything in my life to the series. Don't let the crazies make us all look bad.

I am a fifteen year old girl who happens to hate Twilight with a passion, but I do not typically go out of my way to be mean about it. I only get snippy when it is thrown in my face. However, Edward did come to mind when reading this. TEAM TYLER'S VAN!

You know, girls love sparkly guys these days!
