Today, my mom walked into the bathroom while I was taking a pic to send to my long-distance boyfriend. She then told me I would go to hell for flaunting myself at guys. I was fully clothed, sending a pic to see if he liked my new haircut. That and I'm 21. FML

I feel for you on the long distance deal and your mom sounds like she over reacted BUT... Whats with all you girls taking pics in the bathroom???!!! This has become some strange female ritual. Seeing your toilet (as we do in most of these pics) isn't hot!

None of my bathroom pics ever include a toilet. I usually use the mirror to help point the camera so I don't have to take a bunch to get a good one. But yes, it is a strange ritual. as is duck face.

Damn OP, I thought I was the provocative one by showing off some fingers to people that deserved it but your new hairstyle really takes the cut. Shame on you! On a more serious note, maybe try having a heart to heart talk with your mother about life and show her what a real "flaunting" lady looks like.

I'm honestly surprised. I personally can't tell when my girlfriend has cut her hair. One time she asked me if I liked her new haircut, I replied it was great, she had cut it over 2 months ago. I guess I'm just strange.

maybe your time to move out, was her time to visit her mom. Idiot, you don't know her situation and you have no right to talk about how she should live. Maybe she can't afford it even with a job, maybe she WANTS to move out, but can't due to extenuating circumstances. Don't be a jerk.

Maybe OP doesn't even want to move out! Maybe, despite a few little things like this, she is actually close with her Mother, or maybe she is close with her Father! Some people actually consider their parents good friends, and so, staying with their parents is like having a roommate who is a good friend. As for #54, the thing is that #31 is making kind of rude assumptions and accusations, the person after them is just trying to say that OP might not be in a bad situation at all.
