Today, my dad called me a "deadbeat loser" after I came back from my first day of voluntary rehab for my meth problem. He's never had a job in his life and sits on the sofa all day, smoking weed and playing video games, all on my mom's salary. FML
I agree, your life sucks 60 895

Good for you for getting clean. Why care what he says if he's such a loser?

#1 did you miss the part where he just got out of voluntary rehab?

At least you are getting yours in order

Why hasn't his ass been kicked out yet? And for what it's worth, at least you're doing something about your problem, OP. Best of luck to you.

Don't give up... Keep fighting ur addiction.

that sounds very rich coming from your dad but he is a great example of where you could end up if you dont halt in your tracks now. good luck with the rehab and dont make things worse for your mum.

Ur on meth! U really have no argument

Firstly, *you're and *you. Secondly, he's going to rehab to fight his meth addiction so at least he's doing something about it. He's changing his life for the better. His father however, is making no effort whatsoever to change his deadbeat lifestyle. So yes, OP actually does have a valid argument.

You should be proud of this OP! i know a handful of people who got introduced into the hard stuff and never got help until they were forced too. i also know a handful of people who did it by themselves like OP in fact Im dating one right now. Nothing gains my respect more then those who can admit they have a problem and they go fix it. and for those of you wondering he hasnt been on the hard stuff since he got himself help. and he doesnt associate with anyone who still has the hard stuff, hasnt since before he met me. Good job op, be proud keep up the good work

Screw your dad! And props to you for wanting to be clean :)

At least you're trying, OP. You should be proud of yourself. Keep your chin and spirits up :D You can do it!!

I've never seen such a serious case of irony.

It sucks to be you OP, but hey, at least you're trying to do something about your issues. Best of luck to you with rehab, and I hope that you can get (and stay) clean without too much trouble!
