what an asshole!!
So, a guy broke up with you. He didn't do it like a jackass. And you're bitching about it? I can see why he dumped you.
i like your picture ..
Why do people think that's a good idea? If anything, it makes the breakup even more bitter!
historically speaking, people who get married after only dating for a year (excluding people who have known each other for a long time already) don't have a long-lasting marriage. i'm not saying it's impossible, but not likely. especially in 2010. op, there are tons of dick ways that your boyfriend could have used to break up with you, and this isn't one of them. count your blessings, and keep it movin'. |the kid|
Breakups happen all the time. Be glad he took your feelings into consideration. Would you rather have him say: "I'm breaking up with you. Oh, bu the way, I've been sleeping with your best friend, bitch!"
you asked for it: 1 you expected him to propose at a year and 2 you are complaining that he didn't just text you saying "screw you"
Here's why it's a YDI: you were expecting him to "finally" propose... after just one year??? YDI, YDI, YDI. Otherwise, yeah, that sucks.
100% agreed!

I'm sorry, but "finally propose" and "1 year relationship"?
He should have got down on one knee when he said it. That would have been the best breakup of all time.
