I don't understand why people admit this stuff on here. I'd be keeping this a secret.
Maybe OPs son posted. Or maybe OP is a desperate attention seeker.
29- I agree with Kyleekay. Perhaps in one small way, Op posting this blunder was her way of admitting she was wrong and seeking minor redemption by allowing others to berate her for it. Perhaps not, but one can hope. ;)
Even though you didn't know, this is a pretty dick move.
Yes you are
Today I was a handicapped child. Some bitch who thinks her time is more important than everyone else's honked her horn and gave me dirty looks while my mom helped me out of our vehicle. FML.
you're in North Dakota. do didn't you see the chair in the bed if the truck?
She could have been doing anything, but you immediately assume she was doing something wrong? If you'd waited five minutes, you would have been able to determine what she was doing. Then you could decide whether or not to be an arsehole. Seriously, did you just start up with the horn the second she got out of the car? Wow.
Isn't the drop off area meant for getting the kids out and off to school in a speedy manner ASAP? There are tons of handicap parking spaces that "should have" been easily available for her to properly take her time to unload her child's wheelchair. I'm not trying to sound insensitive but that was inconsiderate of her too.
Not necessarily depending on the school the handicap spaces could be really far away.. They were at mine and u had to cross traffic if u parked in a handicap space so most of the time it was just easier for the people to just park up front and unload.. And the normal not easily frustrated asshole people just went around
Sometimes these kids are let out of school earlier that way this is done before everyone else is out. So maybe this was before school was let out and the mother was getting her daughter before hand that way it wouldn't have been a problem.. I've seen it done many times..
The schools that I went to had a total of zero handicap spaces, so it really does depend.
Yes, but I doubt that's the case here. If that lady had a handicap child going to that school, most likely there are correct parking spots available. Drop offs are NOT for parking (which that lady did). Yes, the OP jumped too quick to blast his horn but I can't say that I wouldn't be upset if I were using the drop off correctly and others weren't.
Speaking from experience. I had 2 broken feet and used a wheelchair. We couldn't get a handicap sticker/sign. Usually I got dropped off in the front where a teacher would roll me to class. If both parents were there, they didn't need to put it in park. If it was one, it was necessary.
The schools I went to had several children in wheelchairs, but still no handicap spaces. Maybe my schools were just lazy, but it never seemed to be a problem.
No, she's the asshole. She should have poured her kid on the ground and left him to flop around like a fish while she parked the car and brought him his wheelchair. Good thing you were there to teach her some manners.
"Flop like a fish" made me think of Spongebob theme tune... Are you ready kids "Aye Aye Captain" I Can't hear you "AYE AYE CAPTAIN" Ohh... Who pours their disabled kid onto the street? "Asshole Shitpants!" Obnoxious and shallow and loves faggotry? "Asshole Shitpants!" If being a big bitch be something you wish "Asshole Shitpants!" Then drop down your kid to flop like a fish! "Asshole Shitpants!"
Aw, shucks.
