You joke but I know people that is true of. Personally I keep any dead animals I'm planning to mount (or taxidermize if you want to get all Chuck Testa) in a separate freezer from my icecream, but I know other taxidermists who have dead animals bagged up between the icecream and bagel bites. :p

My dad works in a diagnostic lab and in fifth grade I got to dissect a brain in the lab. In the lab, there is a freezer. He showed me what was inside the freezer. There was a dead dog and horse legs upside down in a barrel. Apparently, glue is made out of horse legs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I was told.

Actually it's the hooves and tendons, but close enough. They are boiled down to make both glue and gelatin. I figure you are right that op works in some kind of lab though.
