Today, I finally confessed to the guy I've liked for two years. I told him that I've really liked him for a long time, and that I knew he had a girlfriend and I didn't expect anything from him, I just wanted him to know. His response? "Are you done? 'Cause I need to go to the bathroom." FML

Today, after finally having the guts to confess to a guy I have liked for a year now and him saying he also likes me and then asking me out, I went out of my way and traveled 4 hours to meet him. He didn't show up and never apologized. I never heard anything from him. FML

Today, I dressed up nicely to see the guy that I like and have been talking to for the last 3 months. Just when I thought he was finally going to ask me to be his girlfriend, he told me that he's actually had a girlfriend for 3 years now, but was too afraid to tell me because he really likes me. FML

YDI. Why? Just why? Why would you tell him? Fine if he's single, but he has a girlfriend. That's the dumbest thing you could do. Okay, probably not the dumbest, but one of the dumbest things. What did you even expect if he does have a girlfriend? Dump her for you because you confessed your feelings? Epic fail.

You put him in an awkward situation and he was obviously surprised and didn't have time to think of good way to get out of it, what else did you expect? If he is already in a relationship telling him something like that is completely unacceptable, and he should be respected for trying to avoid something that might put a dent in it. Just put yourself in his girlfriend's shoes, would you want him actually talking to someone else who says they love him?

atleast she had the balls to tell him.I liked a guy for 3 years and never ever told him because he had a gf and didnt wanna cause trouble. so i waited a long time to tell him and the day he broke up with his gf when i was about to tell him. i found out he just moved in the other side of the country.. it was heart breaking.And the surprising thing is, i eventually did tell him and he was super happy he was gunna fly down here to see me and everything but i told him not to because i was over it. So atleast she had the guts to tell him.you never know .. something good may come out of it and maybe not, but atleast she told him before its too late and lost any chance.
