Today, I finally confessed to the guy I've liked for two years. I told him that I've really liked him for a long time, and that I knew he had a girlfriend and I didn't expect anything from him, I just wanted him to know. His response? "Are you done? 'Cause I need to go to the bathroom." FML

Today, after finally having the guts to confess to a guy I have liked for a year now and him saying he also likes me and then asking me out, I went out of my way and traveled 4 hours to meet him. He didn't show up and never apologized. I never heard anything from him. FML

Today, I dressed up nicely to see the guy that I like and have been talking to for the last 3 months. Just when I thought he was finally going to ask me to be his girlfriend, he told me that he's actually had a girlfriend for 3 years now, but was too afraid to tell me because he really likes me. FML

Boohoo. Get over it. I've done this before. If it wasn't for people like you always stating your love I couldve made a couple relationships last longer. Don't get to upset. This isn't really an FML. Idk, I would never wait 2 years for anyone. Unless it's family.

What were you expecting him to do? That would have to be a rather awkward situation, having you confess that you loved him for the past two years even though you knew damn well he have a girlfriend. It's not surprising that he made his excuse and left as soon as he could.

obviously you did expect something from him! im a girl but i hate it when girls tell guys they like them but dont expect anything from them. its not true and it changes the whole dynamic of the relationship. i honestly dont blame him for walking away like that. he must have been shocked and its not like he can do anything. he has a girlfriend!

... Come on what do you get out of telling him that? Obviously you were hoping for a similar confession even though he has a gf which shows you're vain... AND now you'll have to suffer some major awkwardness whenever you're near him. Way to go THERE'S some smart thinking YDI no sympathy here.
