Today, on the train on the way to my mother's house, I was playing Mario Kart with my son. He got a 'bomb' item, and yelled quite loudly, "I have a bomb!" Panic ensued. We got thrown off the train at the next stop. FML

Today, after reading a sign at the airport, my 6-year-old son thought it would be funny to yell, "Daddy's got a bomb!" Airport security then tackled me to the ground. Oh, and I missed my flight and my mother's birthday. FML

Today, as I was trying to get off a crowded train, some asshole pushed past me hard enough to nearly knock me over. My bag hit a preschool kid standing behind me, and I missed my stop trying to apologize to him. His mom yelled at me all the way to the next stop. FML

Today, I was riding the train and fell asleep. A friend of mine got on a few stops later, and to be funny, shouted 'BOO!'. I woke up and was so startled I peed myself. FML

Today, I saw my train pulling in to the station. I sprinted up the stairs and luckily made the train. I looked around and no one was in my compartment. I began to notice that the train was heading down some tracks I'd never been too. I got stuck on an empty train for 3 hours in the train garage. FML

Today, my boyfriend decided to start an argument and storm off the train we were on. Two stops later, ticket inspectors hopped on the train. He had our tickets. FML

Today, I was at a bus stop making small talk with a really nice girl, when all of a sudden some kids let off firecrackers behind me. I shrieked like a little girl and practically jumped into her lap. FML

I think it depends on what ethnicity OP is, if OP is arabic, they could very well have reacted much more strongly than if OP is caucasian

If someone says they have bomb you don't really go up and ask them and politly check. If there was a terrorist and he said I have a bomb you wouldn't just go politely check. You would get them away from people and make sure it was safe. I don't believe in the whole you have a turban on we are gonna strip search you every time you go to the airport but you gotta be really careful about what say. People take that stuff seriously. Definantly tell your kid that talking about bombs and hijacking in public places such as a train or airport is not good because you could sent to Guantanamo Bay and get water boarded or something.

I don't believe it. Why would they throw a little kid playing with his gameboy off? They obviously know he's playing a game. Maybe they thought "I have a bomb" really stood for "I have to fart. Watch out!". So they took cover.
