Never grow old

By Crystal - 08/03/2010 21:35 - United Kingdom

Today, I showed my fiancé the darling Tinkerbell hoodie I'd bought myself during the weekend. Instead of liking it as I'd hoped, he told me my childish wardrobe was embarrassing, and he wasn't going to be seen in public with me until I wore something different. FML

Most people who generalize are douchey bigots.

Guess that means he doesn't want to be your Peter Pan.

Good, Tinkerbell sucks! It's so annoying when chicks obsess over frickin' Disney Characters and princesses and stuff, it's why stupid retarded chicks think they're princess and stuff, it's so stupid.

he's right. grow the **** up. tinkerbelle isn't "darling" unless you're 6.

I'm afraid most grown ups try not to curse unnecessarily, or judge people with different tastes than they have. You're hardly someone who should be speaking about "growing up".

ur a ******* dumbass how ******* old are u 2 grow some breasts and wear something slutty!

I pity the fool that has a childesh wardrobe!

Seeing an adult wearing tinkerbell, sylvester or pooh makes me want to gouge my eyes out. The only people I've seen wearing tinkerbell is the 50+ year old liquor store man/lady, old women in nighties at walmart and 10 year olds.

I love how most of you who are calling her immature not only display immaturity through your inability to control your anger, but some of you can't even spell!

At least we don't define ourselves by being anti-popular opinion. Whilst the opinion I hold may adhere to that of the majority, how does that make it any less valid than yours? Anthropologically speaking you are bad for the species.

I never said your opinion was any less valid, I merely stated the irony that most of these commentors seem to defeat their own arguments. I'm afraid you've misunderstood, and thrown out a completely unnecessary insult. Piss off, will you?

Crickey, I do love an adult and reasoned debate. I was trying to comment on how most people who ally themselves with the 'anti' culture and pride themselves on their mature, independent and informed opinions are often the most closed-minded of all. I love it when I'm proved wrong...

As I've said before, you've completely misunderstood. The term 'anti' can be used synonymously with the word 'negate'. The point of anti is not to be completely for or against something, it is to negate the advantages the competition may hold over you. It also states that accepting the norm, while human, is not acceptable. In other words my interpretation of anti is "It's ok to be flawed, but not ok to accept it" That's why my screen name is "anti_average" not "anti_popular_opinion."

wow ok y'all are rediculous!! what's wrong with liking tinkerbell? why should her husband be such a jackass about what she wears? OP: you should wear what ever you like to wear, if he doesn't like it, f*ck him!

More like don't **** him. Maybe he'll change his mind after that.
