Today, I was wearing my favorite tube top to the mall when a girl walked up and said, "I have that exact same skirt, why are you wearing it as a top?" I've been wearing it for two years, and no one's bothered to tell me. FML

To #1: it can be really easy. esspecially these days where skirt can be mistaken for belts. And to OP, youre not from Burlington are you? Cause I saw someone wearing what was clearly a skirt as a top a few months ago...

why does it matter?! and how do you know that she wasn't the one who was wearing it "wrong"? a lot of clothes are multi-use these days - it could very easily have been made to be both.

Who the hell mistakes a shirt for a top? 1) On the tags it, most likely, says "Skirt". 2) Most likely in the "Skirt" section. You're an idiot.
