Today, my pregnancy test came back positive. My boyfriend is no fan of fatherhood, so it was with some hesitation that I called him and let him know I'm pregnant. He replied, "Like hell you are!" and hung up. He now refuses to answer any of my calls. FML

He did act like a asshole, but it takes two to make a baby. You knew he didn't like the idea of fatherhood, yet neither one of you took the precautions of preventing it.

Refusal won't do him any good when child support has to be paid, plus hell look less like a scum bag just manning up and taking responsibility.

You shouldn't be sleeping with him if he doesn't want to be a father eventually. Sure it may come sooner than planned, but contraceptives or not, you shouldn't be having sex if you're not ready for that possible consequence.

You live in Oregon. You might send him a letter saying "Either deal with situation, or the courts will make you pay child support for the next 18 years." Oregon courts are pretty strict about such things.

Contraceptives can fail. Theyre really not 100%. I know. Im 17 weeks pregnant used them and then my ex left me at 13 weeks pregnant. Went back on his word to take care of us. Now I cant get ahold of him myself. I had to write his mom a letter explaining everything and mail two ultrasound pictures because he hasn't told her. Shes mad at him and not me surprisingly.

It makes me kind of angry to see things like this. Your boyfriend is no fan of fatherhood and you get pregnant, meanwhile people like me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for three years and nothing.
