No kidding

Today, my pregnancy test came back positive. My boyfriend is no fan of fatherhood, so it was with some hesitation that I called him and let him know I'm pregnant. He replied, "Like hell you are!" and hung up. He now refuses to answer any of my calls. FML

You should have brought him To chuckie cheese and told him if he was going to be that immature

He did act like a asshole, but it takes two to make a baby. You knew he didn't like the idea of fatherhood, yet neither one of you took the precautions of preventing it.

While he was a complete asshole, to be fair that's not really the sort of thing that you should tell someone over the phone. You can't hang up on someone face-face.

And you were having sex with him because.......? If you want to have to deal with an absentee father and a child support dodger for the next 18 years then allow this to proceed. I hope you're prepared for 18 years of nonsense. Is his reaction really a shocker?

Wow there are a lot of 12 year olds on FML today. That's the only explanation I can think of for so many people yelling WELL YDI FOR DARING TO HAVE SEX!! Are you people serious? Safe sex is absolutely essential, you're an idiot if you don't want to have a kid but have sex without being on birth control and using condoms. But there is no reason that someone should have to wait until they want children to have sex, do you all expect everyone to remain virgins until they're 30? It is perfectly possible for sex to not result in a pregnancy if you're responsible. Is it possible to be that .1% who gets pregnant anyway? Yes, it is. But you take bigger and deadlier risks than that just by getting in a car everyday, are you going to avoid driving because there's a 2% chance you'll be involved in an accident? Probably not. So please get off your high horses and realize that while abstinence is the only 100% sure way to not get pregnant (rape not withstanding), having sex is not it itself wildly irresponsible. It is a normal part of most romantic relationships.

I see a flight of stairs in your future, throw yourself down them - then learn about condoms.

#185 So you're saying a married couple that doesn't ever want to have children shouldn't ever have sex? /time to check reality

rinoa_fml 10

Okay so I fail at comprehension today. Presumably the married couple would be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Forget Him. Just by reading this,it's freaking pissing me off.

Why didn't you do that in person. Knowing that he would react like that?

Maybe you should have thought about that before having unprotected sex with a total douche bag

His fault for not using a condom, he ALSO has to deal with it

OP has to deal with it too. She didn't remember to tell him to use contraception. Her fault too
