No signal

By XxFA1LxX - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - Canada - Calgary

Today, my neighbors bought a signal scrambler to stop their kids from going on the internet at night. Too bad it blocks my internet too. FML

A scrambler, really? Has your neighbour ever heard of passwords and parental control? It's not that hard.

Woah a scrambler? It's not that hard to block Internet access for kids

I'm 18(20 days) and my da takes my phone when he feels like it. If I don't hand it over he resorts to corporal punishment, plus grounds me, plus berates me for an hour. And if I try to leave the room. He resorts to corporal punishment. So I think I can complain a little, eh wiccanbeauty?

Um...tell them that or stop stealing their wifi and get your own?

"Too bad it blocks my internet too. FML" Can't people read clearly nowadays?

Actually, no, #76. You still sound just as spoiled as the sixteen-year-old.

Not "too bad". Walk over to their house and tell them to get a net nanny or you'll put your foot up their ass.

Wow, those kids must have been getting around every other way they were attempting to block the Internet after 9. Or they're just uneducated that there are other, less imposing ways to do it. Either way, I'd speak to them first, and if that doesn't work (let's hope it would, unless they are really just THAT stupid), call the cops. Hopefully it'll be fixed by 9 PM tonight.

One would think so. Let's just hope - if OP needs to call the police - that they actually take it seriously.

If I'm not mistaken, I think scramblers are illegal in the first place?

They can't just unplug the router at night? That would have been waaay cheaper then to pay for a scrambler.

Oohh! Is the widdle baby gonna kwy?! Oh pobre cito! Get over it you ****** pussy

Parents have no sense of dignity and decency

The problem isn't that he can't get on the internet, its that his neighbors are blocking the OPs internet access, which the OP is paying for, and therefor should be able to use without restriction any damn time they want.

Well.. it looks like you're going back to cable.
