Noped outta there

By SmileEveryday - 17/03/2009 20:44 - United States

Today, I decided to ask my friend to the school dance, which is one where the girls ask the guys. I spent hours placing signs down his street so he would see them on his way home. As I was waiting in his driveway with balloons, I saw his car reverse and go in the opposite direction. FML

no way, all your fault. should have just asked him face to face. guys dont go for all that surprise bullshit.

Wow, what a creepy and seriously clingy way to ask a guy out.

It seems like the best FML's always come from creepy desperate ugly girls.

I don't find this creepy at all. I would EASILY go with any girl to any dance that did this for me. Especially if she was already a friend of mine. That guy's a dick. You deserve better. Go get it.

it's easy to tell who's OLD here. asking someone to the dance in a unique way is part of the asking someone out part now. i remember in high school people always did different antics to ask people.

why didn't you just ask him in person? He's your friend, right?

#32- yeah well my momma told me that when someone is acting creepy stalkerish that talking to them mano-e-mano is not really the smartest or best way to go at it.... think of it this way.... if it was a girl and there was this dude doing all this creepy shit waiting at her house would you tell her to deal with it in a mature and responsible way? Yes! Cause the smart, mature, and responsible way is to Get the **** out and/or call the police! Wait.... you wouldn't....... please don't have daughters..... :(

Ummm maybe if you didnt do it in such a strange stalkerish creepy way he may have said yes. Next time unless you are actually dating the dude just simply say "hey wanna go to a dance" and leave it at that.

oh come on guys, its not THAT creepy, people always do crazy things when they ask people to prom and such. however, the bigger the invite, the harder it is to say no. He probably just didn't want to hurt your feelings to your face... which probably was more for him than you, though.
