you better call them back!!!!
Correction. Three people who don't know how to use the buttons. This FML is going to set a record for most pointless comments.
Well, if you are Canadian, you may not need a passport to enter... May be two other forms of ID and proof of citizenship could work (like birth cert)
Nope. The US are pricks about getting into their country now. If your passport is CREASED, they can turn you away.
While that may still be true driving across the border, when you are flying you have to have a passport now.
#31 true #33 - I assumed since she is in Ontario she'd be driving to Buffalo or Albany. My bad. You're right, if they are flying they have to have a passport and complete immigration before they board the plane in Canada.
Retard
We don't want you in the states anyways. Lol j/k
Wow. What a dummy. You should know that you'll need that. Keep it in your purse or your back pocket! Lol
OP kept it in the carry-on bag they'd be taking on the plane the next day, not in the pocket of the pants they were wearing that day. In other words, OP thought ahead to make sure the passport couldn't be left behind. You sneered at something OP did right. The problem is that that the carry-on bag wasn't clearly marked (or was, and the movers missed it) as something the movers shouldn't take.
Im goning away soon but i dont need a passport because i am not going overseas so i am lucky
thank you for sharing! :)
I made this account just so I could comment on how stupid your comment was. You do realize op is from Canada and there is no sea between Canada and "the states" don't you? Yes I understand that you may be staying within your country and therefore don't need a passport but still use some common sense.
Going*
They aren't going over seas either...
Aren't you allowed to have a different form of ID in case something like that happens? If you're at least 18 and you can get by with being under 18 just have your parents tell the security or ticket people you're 15 because people under 18 don't need passports or any form of ID at least in the USA. We had to do that last year and it worked
Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't you then need at least a birth certificate or something to prove you are supposed to be with the adults you're traveling with if you are under 18?
if you're flying to a different country you must have a passport you can only use other id for flying within the country
I doubt they have their birth cert. handy. They are gonna need more than just their parents saying how old they are!

Just explain to your significant other that they must go on their own, unpack and arrange all your stuff, finding your passport in the process and send it back so you can join them after all the unpacking is done. Good plan by the way. The "without my knowledge" part gives it a realistic spin.
Speaking for Canada, I guess we can keep you for a little while longer.
