Maybe op didn't respond because he was asleep. When I don't get a response from my boyfriend I just assume he didn't see it, was busy, or was sleeping. The point of texting is so that you don't have to waste time on a long phone call and you can respond when it's convenient for you.

I am glad people like TrinityNevada are not psycho. I have met so many people like Op's girlfriend, that I was starting to feel alone in my logic. #30, I am not sure how you think this means she is concerned. Concerned means she calls, or goes over to make sure Op is okay. It does not mean she texts him 500 times to tell him how he screwed up. Heaven help Op if he actually does do something to disappoint her, she might just murder him. Either way, worried looks a lot different than the angry, immature texts this girl is sending Op.

If I was spending time with my wife, and then we parted ways and she went home but then never responded to my texts, I'd be very worried she didn't make it - this FML depends a lot on how often they talk and what was expected/normal for them.

We're not talking about being worried that someone is in a ditch somewhere. She was pissed because OP didn't text "goodnight". If she was worried, she could have actually called. Unless she has a phone that only texts. This is crazy, any way you look at it.
