That sucks. I invited about 50 people to my I'm-leaving-the-country-forever part and all of them showed up, at least for a little while - I was actually kind of surprised, since we were all between 18-25 and there was no drinking allowed since my parents were afraid of upsetting the neighbours. We were rowdy and annoying anyway, so sucks to them
FYL :| tht sukz, atleast you wnt see them anymore!
sorry bra, hope you find some better friends within your travels tho
Wow that sucks, hopefully when you move you will get better friends than that
This is one of my biggest fears, though it's never actually happened to me. I have been the one of 2-3 people to show up to a party though, and once I was the only one. Tough, man. Your "friends" are dicks and at least you know who's worth it now.
exaggeration much? there's no way that that's true.
That sucks so much, I'm sorry. I'm agreeing with the others that said there must've been a misunderstanding though, since it seems a bit unlikely that only 2 of 60 people would turn up.
I agree with number 5! This is so sad...

From experience, never throw yourself a going away party and expect folks to come. Just tell folks you are leaving and if someone wants to organize something they will and invite people over and set it up. I have heard of several friends inviting over a hundred people to these things, just to see only about 0-15 show up to send their good byes.
I feel really bad for you, safe travels.
