Today, I rode my bike to work. While biking on the road, I gave a hand signal for turning left. A car passing the opposite way veered towards me and attempted to give me a high five. I now have cuts all over my body and my bike is in two pieces. FML

Today, I was riding my bike down a road I know is quite hazardous. Having almost been hit in the same spot the day before, I rode across the intersection very satisfied without having been injured. Until I crashed into the guy front of me and flipped over my handlebars. FML

Today, as I pulled to a halt at a stop sign, a cyclist ripped through the air, slammed straight into my fender, and almost launched over my car. I ended up being cited for reckless driving. FML

Today, I rode my new bike for the first time. I made it less than 100 feet from my driveway before I was almost flattened by someone driving on the wrong side of the road. Upside: I managed to get out of the way. Downside: I did it by slamming my brand new, expensive bike into a wall. FML

Today, I was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car while on my bicycle. The police officer said it was my fault for not looking, even though the car pulled up without looking. I now have a small herniated disc in my neck and abrasions on my thigh. FML

Today, as I was walking to work, a cyclist shot out of nowhere and slammed into me. I hit the ground hard and lay there in agony. The guy quickly dusted himself off, said "Sorry man. It's a vicious cycle." then chuckled at his own stupid pun and cycled away. FML

That totally sucks! More bike riders should use hand signals. They don't have turn-signals on their bike like a car does. I vote its an FYL since the moron driving obviously wasn't paying attention in driver's ed.

FYL for sure... people on bicycles are leading the way for low carbon footprint/ fiscal responsibility / resource conservation. I hope he helps more ppl learn to be considerate to cyclists. Btw, im not a huge advocate for biking, I just have alot of respect for them

FYL, you didn't deserve it at all! Oh and for people are giving him grief for signaling, you should be thanking him! How else will you know if he's turning right or left, especially when you're in a car! And for everyone else who are saying for him to drive a car, maybe he doesn't have one. Maybe he's not old enough to drive, or maybe he's just wants to save money to not have to buy gas. Or who knows, maybe he's doing us all a favor and not putting more pollution in the air!

90, you're an idiot. Bikers are not 'selfish' because they choose a different kind of transportation. Morons like YOU are selfish for thinking that other people should always make YOUR life easier and look out for YOUR best interest. And paying attention to the road and what/who is driving on it is part of your responsibility as a driver. So man up or shut the **** up.

Even if he wasn't on a bike, people have to use hand signals for other things to.... A lot of peopel drive with a broken tail light and it's annoying as **** to try to watch them switch lanes. And what an idiot to think that you wanted a "High Five".... FML I hope your bike gets fixed...

FYL! I can't believe people are saying ydi. :/ Wtf was the driver of that car thinking? In many places it is ILLEGAL to ride on the sidewalk (I think here it's if you're over 12 years old) and why the hell do they deserve it for using hand signals? Wouldn't you be pissed if the car in front of you went to turn without an indicator on?
