Here, it is illegal to ride bikes on sidewalks, but there is usually a bike lane next to the road. But then again, Portland is trying to go for this whole "greenest city in America" shit. But, someone correct me if I'm wrong, if there is a pedestrian in the road, they are to go against the traffic in that lane, not with it?

My guess is the people saying "get a car" (like #12 and 53) don't exactly care about the environment. They're probably the ones who vote for offshore drilling and cutting down all the forests and think that there's no such thing as global warming, it's just something the hippies made up. That also being said, they obviously don't know what exercise is either if they never get out of their cars, because personally I'd much rather walk the 30 min to work than drive it simply for the exercise. My guess is these guys are fat lumps who go to drivethru fast food b/c they're too lazy to get out of their precious cars, then sit on the couch all night drinking beer. Hope it's fun. OP, I hope you got at least part of the license plate so you can report them and get them to pay.
