Today, I thought it would be funny to smack my daughter's head gently with a balloon. It hit her hair clip and exploded. She won't stop crying, and my wife will be home any minute. I'm screwed. FML

I'd recommend just admitting your wrong doing and hope your wife doesn't go too crazy. But I do think your a fun dad. Good luck.

If shes a reasonable person then i have no idea why she'd have a problem with this. You were being playful, you just smacked her in an unfortunate place, your daughter got a fright at the loud pop right on her head. It happens, every parent has unintentionally made their kid cry. Why be mad about it
