okay, yeah. kids do that kind of thing. if you are in fact a grandmother, you should be used to this by now. kids say things they don't mean.
Mr. 126 [or Ms. if I'm assuming incorrectly], you made me glad. Keep up the good work.
i think that girl deserves a back hander
Wow, what a little bitch. Time to teach her a lesson and not any of that "time out" shit.
#125, I didn't read it, but I still noticed it was long. I hope that was your intent. :)
"Funny story, but to #10 and the people that agree with him, they're not brainwashing little kids any more than an atheist who teaches their kids that god doesn't exist. Whatever you teach your kids, you teach them. Don't rag on this lady just because she happens to believe in Jesus. Oh and #4, might wanna check your history. We know that a person named Jesus existed around 30 AD, so to say he didn't exist just makes you sound like a fool. Also, for whether he exists today, think of the account of a Jew named Saul." I personally believe that parents should not force or even try to persuade their kids to go to church, if they want to go then that's their choice, but parents should not try to force their religion on anyone, least of all little children. Going to church at the age of two is not really damaging either way, they're too young to understand it and so probably too young to be indoctrinated. Once a kid is old enough to know Santa Claus isn't real they should be able to judge for themselves whether or not God is real, for then you know that they're of an age where they won't just believe the first thing that comes to them. This is advantageous on the Christian side of things because then you know that their belief is sincere, and it is better from the Atheist's standpoint for then they won't have been taught all of their life that God is real and can decide for themselves. And if a kid, or teen, or what have you doesn't want to go to church or believe in God, then BY NO MEANS do their parents have the right to try to force them to do so. Also, for all those who are calling the girl a bitch and saying that she should be beaten, etc, ARE YOU SERIOUS?! She's TWO for goodness' sakes! Little kids say mean stuff sometimes, but get over it, they just don't have a control mechanism.
Oh, and like comment 125, I am an atheist but I recognize organized religion's benefits in this world rather than the next, and think that the church can bring people together, help people through hard times, and bring relief to those in need. I'm fine with religion as long as no one tries to convert me. And as for anyone who says that religion just causes war and hatred, those same people fighting over religion would be fighting over other things such as race, tribe, etc if there wasn't religion.
lol, she is not getting anything for a long time.
Sure that's not Richard Dawkins' kid? Hahaha. This brings to mind his persistent (and true) belief that there's no such thing as a religious child. Apparently even at two, she's got the right idea!!
