Today, my boyfriend and I were out to eat. The waiter came and asked what we wanted. My boyfriend said he wanted a cheeseburger and I told the waiter I'd have the same. My boyfriend looked at me and said, "Are you sure you don't want a salad?" FML

i agree, i don't think that #1 was wrong at all. us girls should be able to eat whatever we want. guys always complain that we always pick at our food and that we never eat. and when we finally do they complain about that! make up your minds!

People are getting all pissy because he told the truth. You obviously don't know how big/small she is so you have no jurisdiction to say. What if it's for her health due to diabetes or something. Now your opinion would change.

It doesn't matter how big or small she is. Even if she's 300 lbs., saying that when she's already made her choice and especially in front of the waiter is just extremely rude. And if it was for some health reason, dietary restriction, is OP not a big girl and able to make her own decisions for herself? What he did was rude and wrong, no matter the circumstances.

You know what? This FML pissed me off so much that I finally made an account, if that was me, I would have told the waiter "never mind i dont want anything" and then when he left, i would break up with him right then and there and then get up and leave, im so tired of reading things about these asshole boyfriends, seriously -.-

While I agree with your comment, I'd change one thing. Instead of not ordering anything, order the most expensive thing on the menu, make him pay, then break up and leave.
