A. The month is only 12 days old. Do you expect a daily shower of compliments? Marriage might not be for you. B. You've acknowledged it was the nicest thing he's said. Is it the only nice thing he said? Or the only thing he's said at all? If so, this probably won't work out. If he's just not complimentary in general, learn to accept it or move on.

I do think as I type but in my defense, thinking isn't as difficult a process for me as I'm sure it is for you. In fact I'm always thinking so I don't have to deal with that long reboot period you must go through before you randomly pluck at keys.
