So, here's the thing…

Today, I nearly sliced my nipple off while shaving my chest and had to go to the ER. Turns out it was a teaching hospital so I got to explain in front of two doctors and eight med students how, even though I'm a woman, my nipples are so hairy I have to shave them. FML

Ah, that sucks there were all those med students there. Then again, watching doctors in the field is the breast way to learn.

im sorry but LMFAO!!!!! hav u herd of waxing?

I read this exact same story, word for word, about 3 hours ago in the submissions on MLIA.

You people are nuts. MOST women have hair on their areolae and breasts. Seriously. Ask your doctor, your teacher, your parents. However, most women pluck, not shave. Much smarter.

You must have been shaving super hard to actually cut off such a significant amount of skin. And they're MED students... they've seen WAY worse. Trust me.

Um. I'm pretty sure you have to sign an agreement that allows them to use you as an example. Patient confidentiality is like, the #1 rule in hospitals...

Students are under HIPPA too, if we're on a team treating a patient, we're allowed access to their records. You can request not to be seen by students, but if you go to a teaching hospital for care, you kind of should expect to at least see students running around.

OMG, that made me laugh so hard. After reading all of the stupid responses on here so far yours is the first one that really got to the point of the matter without being side tracked.

I've been reading down this list thinking "S A F E T Y R A Z O R" and seeing guff about scissors, tweezers wax and creme. Good on you 85. Mind, I am surprised at how many women here admit/claim to have hairy boobies! I've now got an image it may take me years to shake off.

Boobies are scary enough. But Hairy Boobies???? eww!

You have to agree to let the med students listen in. The fact that you LET them be there is *shudders* ...weird.
