I used to work in manufacturing at a plastics factory on the production floor at my desk it was 110*F year round, we had uniforms that we had to wear that were long sleeves and long pants and Kevlar knit sleeves on our arms with Kevlar knit gloves. Best piece of advise for you is to stay hydrated that'll keep you up and keep you from passing out.
call OSHA
That's 37 degrees Celsius... In Australian that's a cool summer day ?
unsafe working conditions. file report to OSHA.
only over 100 degrees? pansy. try living in Arizona without air conditioning 2 years in a row. You don't know heat.
This reminds me of the week we got more than 30° here every day. I had to work and our store has massive windows and no AC because it's classified as a monument. The temperature in the store reached around 34°. Working in those temperatures for 6 to 8 hours is terrible. Even worse are the customers who keep complaining that it's too hot to just sit there. Anyway, hope this is a one-time experience. Otherwise I'd do what a lot of people here said and file a complaint.
just remind him that the workmans comp claim and the 9-1-1 call will probably cost him his job.

Hope it's fixed soon :( regulated kitchens are bad enough! But even if it is fixed soon you should still look for another job because your employer just showed that he doesn't respect you guys or think of your well being
Assuming it's a chain restaurant, file a complaint to someone higher up than your boss. Whether it be about your boss' behavior or just asking for the AC to be fixed, no one should have to work under those conditions. Best of luck OP.
