Today, I walked in on my daughter lighting candles around one of her friends, who'd fallen asleep while her other friends chanted something in a different language. They still won't tell me what they were doing. FML

Maybe I missed that part of the movie, but I don't recall at any point of the movie where they lit candles around any fishy friends...

It's a sleepover game. I forgot the name of it but it's when you take a friend who is lying on their back, circle candles around them, then slowly lift them up. The friend isn't supposed to be asleep, she's supposed to just close her eyes and not move.

I remember that game! I was trying to remember how it was played exactly, but basically it makes the person in the circle feel like they're floating.

Anything vaguely resembling reality would not be accepted by the Paranormal Activity blokes because it's 'too graphic'; I think they rather like showing horribly obvious documentary-like films instead of something nearer to real.
