Spooky season is nearly here

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2013 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I walked in on my daughter lighting candles around one of her friends, who'd fallen asleep while her other friends chanted something in a different language. They still won't tell me what they were doing. FML

Call the local priest. If the phone lines mysteriously cut out and you lose power, start throwing crosses at them.

They wouldn't tell you..... time to call other parents send the other girls home and have a conversation with your daughter. My house has a no secrets rule, if my kids can't tell me what they 're doing then they shouldn't be doing it

You need to give them some space. They're going to grow up to hate you for smothering them and not letting them have any freedom.

"Hey, mom! I'm just gonna go to Tracy's and **** her brains out!" I'm sure you'll regret this no secret rule someday.

BWahahahahaha!!!!! That one got me laughing :P...

Don't question the summoning rituals of Them!

Kids love the occult because adults say it's Not Real while books and movies promise they are, and it opens a world of imagination where their parents are not the ultimate authority and truth. I'd suggest turning them on to less "dark and spooky" rituals and more to things like crystal worship, making an altar, and flower arranging. These are things that are widely agreed to be mystical and imbue the self with a kind of power, and are more or less harmless to practice even if they don't. Candle rituals and spooky chanting, in addition to being pretty freaky to witness, is agreed to agitate spirits if they do exist.

It's called a spell. And it was probably Latin they were speaking.

What teenage girl has not tried this. YDI you shouldn't be spying on your daughters slumber party.

This is when the difference between pig-Latin and Latin is crucial
