Man or Woman up! No such things as ghosts, only creepy clowns :|
personally, a cat wouldn't make me feel safe at all (but that's because I've been raised with large working breed dogs all my life) but I'm the same way...I would make my dog come with my every time. I don't think you should feel this is an FML for you, OP. sounds pretty normal, and there are plenty of people who agree. :)
Invest in a nightlight dear... :3 and it's okay.. We all have our own fears. Hehe
Yeah, OP, listen to nice mr. Jigsaw over here.
It's not ghosts - it's ninjas.
just think of boxxy and u won't b scared :D
Yay for fighting the fear. Personally cats scare me as they look at random things and yeowl so I think it would have the opposite effect!
That's quite normal, especially if there really is a spirit in your house. If not, many people are afraid of the dark. Deal with it in your own way and don't be ashamed.
I doubt the cat sits outside the door, he sits next to you while you pee, doesn't he?
Hahaha! I actually find that kinda cute :')

we'll sit with you, but once slenderman starts killing you, we're out of there. meow.
