Begging for sex is not a good thing. Counselor, now. Or have a really deep heart to heart. This situation can either resolve itself with some newfound understanding... or it will slowly unravel, badly. Asking you to just be ok with begging for sex is NOT an option.

I agree with your comment on that begging for sex is not something that should be happening in a healthy relationship however fml says 'begging for sex for once' which makes me think that this is a rare occasion for him I.e. They have a healthy regular sex life but on this occasion he wanted it and she didn't so he felt he had to beg for it. There's not enough information to make a judgement either way on which party is being unreasonable, in my opinion. She could have been off sex for weeks in which case yes, a heart to heart is needed to work out why this is or he could be wanting sex for the third time that day while she is trying to do the laundry before heading off to work! :-/ hopefully we hear from the op at some point to get more information

I feel for you, I have to beg my husband sometimes and get lame excuses too so I know what it's like. Good for you for at least trying though but maybe try a different approach, a little romance.
