Today, my boyfriend of 6 months broke up with me. I was crying for over an hour in my room. My dad came in and asked what was wrong. Just as I was about to tell him, he stops me and simply says, "Oh, honey. I don't care… Just keep the noise down." Then walks out. FML

You're probably just a teen like me, and if so, you know just as well as I do that nobody really gives a shit what you think, and your relationship problems really aren't something they want to be bothered with. Sorry, but it was only 6 months. I had a year-long relationship end, and after plenty relationships before that one, I understood that it was just not going to last. And besides, your dad is just teaching you the way the world is: uncaring and blunt. :)

Aww. My dad has done the same thing, lol. But he's my dad, so it's expected. I'm sorry though, break ups are hard no matter what age, and even if it only lasted for a couple months, that in no way means it won't hurt when it ends (personal experience). So just hang in there sweetie, it's really all you can do. Try talking to your mom or friends or something; simply someone who'll be a little more sensitive to your feelings :)
