Thanks Andrew Lloyd Webber

By bdavis - This FML is from back in 2010 but it's good stuff - Canada

Today, I was using a power drill to take down the set for the musical we just finished. My long hair got caught in the drill, got ripped out, and now I have a hurting, bleeding bald spot the size of 2 quarters. FML

i agree, you should put your hair up, or at least see that it's getting close to the drill. and is it the size and shape of 2 quarters, like a figure 8? or just a half dollar?

OP, You DO realize that you're always suppose to tie long hair when using power tools, right? Basic procedures ignored. Hope you learned your lesson. Btw, there's always hats to cover it up.

I merely voted against you cause you admitted you were in a musical... tsk tsk

YDI for not using proper safety procedures. Long hair and loose clothing + power tools == BAD. Your fault entirely. Suck less in the future.

YDI. There are certain things you ALWAYS do when using power tools, and pulling your damn hair back is one of them. The others (because I'm fairly certain you have no clue) are wearing long pants (not loose, though), wearing sneakers or boots, wearing gloves and safety goggles, and always working with others nearby in case you pull a damn fool move again. -Another girl with long hair. Oh, and a theatre major.

Man down! Yeah fyl! But ya really should've tied it back! I know I would :)

You're an idiot. The smart thing to do would have been tying your hair up. Then this whole accident could've been avoided.
