Today, I was pulled over for speeding. After a few minutes of conversing, he told me he didn't need to give me a ticket. He then asked for a date. I politely declined. After staring at me for a very long moment, he said, "I think I'm going to have to give you that ticket after all." FML

If you deserved a ticket then you should have gotten one. However if you didnt and he was being a jerk because you didnt go out with him... Then fyl.

The cop wasn't being nice to her, he was trying to manipulate her.

rude! you should have said yes and given him a false number?

ya, I would've been like, "Sorry sir, im engaged. But how about dinner at 7:00?" Then give him a false number. lol

yeah i doubt this actually happened.. and why is it an fml? if you were pulled over for speeding, you should've gotten a ticket... so by turning down the cop, you just got the exact same punishment as you would've with any other cop. so.. YDI, for speeding? i mean really...

@92 My dads a cop and his rule is that criers ALWAYS get a ticket.

Obviously you deserved a ticket. But he decided not to give you one, pretty much for a date. In that case you say yes, and like every other person that you blow off this would be no different. Except he's a cop. And you wouldnt have a ticket.

She should get a good lawyer and own that bastard is what she oughta do.

@#98 that's adorable :P you're cute. sorry if that's creepy *blushes*

YDI for breaking the law. And fyi the reason he didn't give you a ticket in the first place wasn't because he is a good person you should have seen this comming.

You need to report that ****** and sue the shit out of him for sexual harassment.
