Today, I decided to dress up a little to go out to the bar. I put on a nice shirt, some leggings, and heels. When I walked out the door, my dad said that I looked like a whore. When I got to my boyfriend's house I told him what my dad had said and he replied, "I'd have to agree with him." FML

Man, oh man. Leggings aren't pants , they're leggings. BUT, they cover just as much as capri pants do; they are just a different fabric. I agree they shouldn't be worn with just any shirt. You won't look/be a *****, you're outfit will just not look finished. I don't see how so many people commenting can be saying that leggings are for ******. I think this all depends on what type of shirt she wore. If she wore like a t-shirt, then I can see how that would look "*****-like". However, a tunic and leggings look fine. As long as it covers your butt, you should be fine. But the girls that wear t-shirts then leggings (thus replacing pants), look trashy. But with a tunic, it is the exact same as wearing a dress and nylons, just thicker material.

Actually, that middle girl there looks pretty bad. I wouldn't be surprised if the OP wore something like that. The first one should have worn jeans. In the third one, the leggings look fine, but that top doesn't suit her figure and is a little too sheer.

heh, there's a REASON why leggings aren't pants, and it's not just because people tell you so. It's because every time a girl goes by in leggings I do a double take, because it really just looks like someone painted a colour directly on her ass and that someone is actually walking around with nothing but a shirt on. If I can see the pattern in your underwear, you're not wearing pants.
