In a perfect world people wouldn't be judged by their choice of clothing..seeing as we don't live in a perfect world and OP knowingly walked out her house dressed like a ***** (since her father informed her prior to the date), and chose to parade around in public, A BAR, at that, she deserves it.

The male equivalent to a **** is a player, the male equivalent to a ***** is a man *****, the male equivalent to a hoe is a pimp. The problem is the majority of guys are one of the three and don't care, unless they have a girlfriend/wife already.

But the term "player" isn't really a bad thing to say to a guy, because it's unfortunately also used as a status to be proud of. Same thing with "pimp", thanks to gangsta rap and all that. When a woman has had a lot of boyfriends, she's a *****. See the difference? Men sleeping around = "good", women sleeping around = "bad".

Right, so by that logic, she shouldn't be offended that they called her a *****... I would hardly say the terminology is "misogynistic," because there ARE equivalents. The difference is that girls seem to CARE when people accuse them of sleeping around whereas guys do not (yes, I'm generalizing a lot). Hoe, player, pimp, whatever, are all descriptions of a STYLE, and if you choose to be offended, it's your own fault, and NOT the fault of whoever described the style. I dislike dressing "like a pimp," so I wear T-shirts and jeans. Whereas some of my female friends don't care what other people think, so they have an entire collection of "hoe dresses" If looking like a ***** offends you, then dress different.
